Samaj Kalyan Prashikshan Sansthan is a registered voluntary organisation based at Sheohar, Bihar, working since 2003 in education, health, livelihood and social welfare for the families of this district.
Our largest running project is SAFAL Nasha Mukti Sah-Punarvas Kendra — a de-addiction and rehabilitation centre on Bypass Piprahi Road, Sheohar. It provides medically supervised detoxification, individual, group and family counselling, yoga, recreation and vocational guidance under one roof.
Alongside the de-addiction work, the Sansthan runs vocational training and women empowerment programmes, and takes awareness campaigns to schools, colleges and villages across Sheohar.
Read More About Us Our De-addiction CentreThree stages every resident goes through at SAFAL Nasha Mukti Kendra.
Health assessment on admission, then medically supervised detoxification with care available round the clock.
Individual, group and family sessions that address what caused the addiction and rebuild trust at home.
Yoga, a fixed daily routine and skill training, with follow-up continuing after the resident goes home.
Addiction does not damage one person alone, it damages a whole household. At SAFAL we treat the person, counsel the family and stay in touch long after discharge, because recovery is not finished on the day someone goes home. Every family that comes to our gate is heard first, and helped next.
